Effective 06/27/2023 masks are optional in the treatment room. I will still be wearing one.

I am happy to report that I received my second dose of the Moderna covid-19 vaccine on February 15th, 2021, and my booster shot on 11/24/2021.

Moving forward, things will look a little different in the treatment room, but a rose by any other name would smell as sweet! The guidelines for practice that have been issued by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards are aggressively aimed at mitigation of infection, and I support them fully. I am committed to continue to bring the quality of work and standard of care that is expected of me. I have procured new equipment and supplies, and undergone training in order to provide the absolute best for my clients, with everyone's safety in mind.

 Some of the changes include:

*friends/family members are not permitted to wait in the reception area 

*face massage and home visits are currently on hold

*if you are not feeling well, please cancel your appointment. Canceled appointment charges are suspended for the time being in the event of illness.

The CDC indicates that the following underlying conditions place people at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19: 

*people aged 65 years or older

*chronic lung disease 

*moderate to severe asthma

*heart conditions 

*compromised or suppressed immunity 

*severe obesity 

*diabetes

*chronic kidney disease 

*liver disease
